Who are we looking for?

You’ll ideally be studying at a top 100 university and be on track to gain a 2:1 degree or above. If you’ve spent a placement year in industry, so much the better. More importantly, you’ll need to be hard working with bags of resilience. Always putting our customers and colleagues at the heart of everything you do, you shouldn’t be afraid to roll your sleeves up to get the job done.

Every year a different challenge

Our graduate and industrial placement opportunities constantly change to meet the needs of our business. We could look for Graduate Trainee Buyers one year and Food Technical placement students the next.

Our graduate and industrial placement programmes will help you quickly get up-to-speed with the way we do things around here. It will also give you the freedom to drive your development and shape your own destiny. We expect a lot. But we’ll give you a lot back in return including a fantastic salary. Our recruitment process

You can usually start to apply for our graduate and industrial placement opportunities in October. If we think you’ve got what it takes, you’ll need to go through a challenging process ending with a meeting with the director of the relevant department in February. If you’re successful, you’ll be ready to start in June or July.

Our graduate opportunities are open for 2020 but applications will close on 15th November 2019.
